Deep Portage Hiking & Skiing Trails, Hackensack MN

Carved through the glacial moraine of the Portage Hills, Deep Portage maintains nearly eleven miles of marked cross country ski trails. The trails are looped back to the Interpretive Center so that distances and difficulties can be chosen by skiers. Warmth, beverages, ski passes, maps, souvenirs, and suggestions are available in the Interpretive Center Monday - Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Sundays from Noon until 4:00 pm.
